The Pawson Furniture Collection is not just a collection but a testament to the enduring partnership between Dinesen and John Pawson, which has spanned an impressive three decades. The 2024 furniture collection by John Pawson draws inspiration from his 1992 sketches. The Pawson Furniture Collection is crafted to order by local Danish craftsman Mathias Rasmussen using Dinesen Douglas Classic with a shade detail in Dinesen Oak. The stool and the bench are the only pieces without this detail. The pieces are finished with Dinesen Light Oil and upholstered with Kvadrat Maple 0212 by Åsa Pärson. "The furniture looks deceptively simple but it is not. It speaks of the contribution from the people involved with making it, the carpenter who made them, the person who chose the boards, how the grain and pattern is considered. That’s a big thing for me. I’m not really a detail-person, I’m interested in detail. I just want to have an idea and somebody else does it better, adds to it." - John Pawson
